When I’m not doing astrophysics, there are quite a number of things that keep me entertained. The most important of them is my family, i.e. my spouse and kid, and the cats:

 

My hobbies are roughly divided into sports and music. I do historical fencing:

And I sing and play the violin reasonably well; I can also fake being halfway competent on a variety of other instruments. I used to play a lot at music sessions when I still lived in Germany, I hope I find a bit of time to start doing that again.
